I got to do my best friend’s makeup for her University graduation, and she let me film it! We did a trial run to test out the look she wanted. It’s a SUPER easy  glam look, with a matte eye, some winged liner, and a berry coloured lip.

As an easy glam look, it’s simple enough that anyone can do it! It’s great for beginners and can be customized in a million different ways. For example, adding a shimmery or sparkly eyeshadow instead of the matte will instantly make it more glamorous. Deepening the crease colour of the eyeshadow will make it more dramatic or smokey, and pairing it with a nude or red lip will change up the look!

Makeup Declutter – Eye Makeup I’m Throwing Out

For my second prom/grad/special event tutorial, I wanted to do something a bit different than what I’m used to. Something a bit darker, edgier, and cooler-toned. I went for a silver, sparkly, smokey halo eye, paired with a light nude-pink lip.

With a look like this, in order to keep it still looking soft and classy, I think it’s important to pick your main focus. For this look, the eyes are definitely the focus, so I wanted to keep the face and lips a bit more subdued.

Prom/Graduation season is fast approaching – and for some, has already passed! Following my massive skincare post, I’ve been eager to do some special event makeup tutorials!

This is one of my current favourite looks for any sort of special occasion (but honestly, I often wear this to work even if there is no special occasion!)

For this look, the focus is on the eyes, paired with a nude-pink lip. It’s dramatic (yet not too crazy) warm, and shimmery. It really accentuates the eyes, helping to define and elongate the eye shape.

I took a break from youtube for a while, due to school and work and what not. The idea of making a tutorial was terrifying, and I think that’s perhaps why I put it off for so long. But I really do love making videos, so I decided to just give it a try and see where it goes.

For my first ever youtube tutorial, I thought I would do one of my favourite eye looks. This look is kind of a shimmery smokey-style eye with a sharp crease that is inspired by a cut crease but blended more softly.
I wear this look a lot at work for makeup galas and special occasions, and have gotten quite a few requests to make a tutorial on it!
Since it’s graduation/prom season, I figured that my first youtube tutorial should be more of a special occasion look.
