The summer is nearly over, friends! Is that adopting the “glass half empty” mentality?

I truly don’t know where the summer has gone, but August arriving means it’s basically September…which means it’s basically Halloween. So I’ll be here excitedly pinning Halloween inspiration and dreaming of pumpkin-flavoured everything.

Here’s a recap of my March on Instagram:

Today I saw a post on Twitter stating that we’re already 25% into 2018, and it rattled me a little. I honestly feel like it was just New Years Eve, yet we’re already into the first week of April.

March was a busy month, full of birthdays, work, and trying to establish a YouTube schedule. I challenged myself to post a video every week – something I’ve always struggled to make time for with my busy work schedule.

I’m so proud of myself for sticking to it and being able to do it! It definitely helped to reignite my passion for making videos and helped improved my time-management skills.

September was a busy month that seemed to zoom by, with less time for Instagram than I would have liked. Here’s what my month looked like on Instagram:

March Insta 2015March flew by in a bit of a blur. The first couple of weeks were fantastic, as I travelled to Iceland (a video of which shall be posted soon!) The trip was great, and I saw so many wonderful sights. Reykjavik is a beautiful city, and despite the cold I’m so happy I was able to go.

Unfortunately March ended on a very sad note with a death in the family. I lost my grandmother on March 23rd, and the last couple of weeks have been extremely difficult. But I’m trying to pour all of my energy and feelings into working and getting back into blogging – and so far, blogging has proven to be an incredible form of therapy. Well, along with retail therapy of course.
