I recently got to glam up my friend Jess, so we went for a bronze, Kardashian inspired glam – a sultry, smokey bronzed look paired with a nude lip is very reminiscent of Kim Kardashian’s makeup looks around 2014/2015. This type of a look is what inspired the makeup I did for Jess:

It’s glam but not overly dramatic, and the gold/bronze tones really accentuate Jess’s gorgeous blue eyes!

This is more of a chatty get ready with us style video as opposed to a tutorial, but I included each product used and a brief description of each step!
We hope you enjoy!

Jess’s channel is currently under construction, so I’ll share that with you as soon as it’s up! Stay tuned for our cooking video!

So I somehow convinced my boyfriend to let me do his makeup. On camera…and publish it on the World Wide Web. Naturally, I had to go all in. Gold smokey eye, big fake lashes, contour, and a bright red lip. Since today is National Boyfriend Day, I figured it was the perfect day to share it with you!
He was such a good sport – in fact, he was more still and patient than many of the clients I’ve worked on.

Make sure to give the video a thumbs up if you want him to do my makeup next!

The key products used were the Jaclyn Hill x Morphe eyeshadow palette, the new Lise Watier Teint Velours foundation and powder, the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Skin Twinkle Vol. II palette, and the new limited edition Tarte Blush Bazaar palette! All products are listed in the video!

Morphe Me Subcription – September Brush Review

This is a peach toned makeup look and a twist on the cut-crease. Rather than a super sharp/defined crease, it’s more diffused! I paired it with a peachy-pink sparkly eye, and a soft nude lip.

Products used:

Brushes were all Morphe from the Morphe Me subscription (don’t forget, we both get a free brush if you join through my link!) and the My Makeup Brush Set Oval brushes!

Today’s tutorial is a quick Get Ready With Me! This is my go-to look, especially for the summer. It’s fast, easy, and helps make you look fresh and healthy! For me, this is a look I automatically go to when I’m in a rush or don’t feel like doing anything extravagant with my makeup.

Here are a few options to make applying this look quicker, if you’re really on a time crunch:

  • Skip the lash primer, and just apply your favourite mascara
  • Skip the liner – while this helps add some extra dimension to the eyes, it’s not always necessary!
  • Skip the cream highlight – or, just use cream highlight and skip the powder highlight. Layering definitely isn’t necessary, but if you’re a glow-addict like me, it’s just a quick extra step that helps me feel more glamorous!
  • Skip the lip liner/liquid lipstick, and opt for a nudey-pink gloss instead – this will give you a much softer, more natural look and will be much faster to apply

Today’s video is a pink-toned glam that’s great for any special occasion, whether it’s prom (or grad, as we say here in Canada) bridal, etc! It’s shimmery, glamorous, but not super heavy or dramatic. I love using shimmers and pink-tones for a look like this, as it really helps brighten and freshen up the complexion.
