Holiday Glam – Silver Eyes & Berry Lips (Blogmas Day 20)

silver holiday collage

For day 20 of Blogmas (are we seriously 20 days into December already?!?!) I thought I would share another holiday makeup look. I usually go for shimmery neutrals with a pinky nude lip, so I figured I should do something a little different!

This look is a cooler, sparkly silver smokey eye paired with more of a berry lip. I’m going to be posting a full tutorial for this look tomorrow, but thought I would give you all a sneak peek and share some mini reviews of a few products used!

For this look, I used a few new products and wanted to include my first impressions!

H&M High Impact Color Eyeshadow in “Over The Moon” – this is a stunning silver. It shows up a little more cool toned in person, with a subtle blue undertone. These eyeshadows are truly incredible. They’re so smooth and pigmented, with gorgeous shades. You can read my full review of the shadows here!

H&M Eye Shadow Pencil in “Heavy Metal” – once again, H&M has stunned me with the quality of their products. This eyeshadow pencil is so creamy and pigmented, it glides on the eyes and blends out like a dream. This is also a silver shade, and makes the perfect base for the Over The Moon eyeshadow! I will definitely be picking up more of these.

Ardency Inn Modster Smooth Ride Supercharged Eyeliner “Black” – Admittedly, I picked this up because Jaclyn Hill always raves about it. I’ve had my eye on it for months now, and finally saw it restocked on Sephora! It is definitely one of the smoothest, most intense black eyeliners I’ve ever used. It glides on so nicely, and is so dark and opaque. It’s a fantastic waterline liner – though I definitely don’t think it lasts all day in my waterline (but to be fair, virtually no eyeliners last all day in my waterline.) I’m so happy I decided to get this, and highly recommend it!

Too Faced Melted Lipstick in “Melted Fig” – I love the Melted liquid lipsticks, and have been meaning to get my hands on more! This shade is so unique, it’s gorgeous purple-toned berry. In this look, I wore it over top of a more burgundy toned lipliner to make the colour appear more reddish/pink. I highly suggest this shade for the fall and winter! The formula is also very unique. It’s highly pigmented and creamy, but doesn’t dry matte. This is ideal for those with dry lips!
