Goodbye Procrastination, Hello Youtube Channel!

Making a youtube channel is something that I’ve wanted to do for over 5 years. I grew up around my father’s videography business, and loved the idea of filming and editing videos. I got my first video camera when I was about 10, and would make tons of little videos with my friends.

Realizing how much I loved beauty and makeup, I thought it would be amazing to make beauty videos and join the beauty blogging community on youtube. Of course, that is a lot easier said than done.

I came up with every reason imaginable as to why I could never make it as a vlogger/youtuber, or why I would never get subscribers and nobody would watch my videos.

Then I decided that I really didn’t care; I love beauty. I love making videos. Why not combine the two?

I spend obscene amounts of time on youtube, watching everyone from Carli Bybel, Nicole Guerriero, and Michelle Phan, to Gregory Gorgeous and Goss Makeup Artist, and I fell in love with the idea of making videos and being a part of that community.

So, I decided to stop procrastinating and making excuses, and just do it.

I had no idea how awkward it would be to sit in front of a camera and try and talk about my life, so I hope that my awkwardness isn’t too overwhelming.

This is basically my attempt at an introductory video! I will likely be posting beauty-related videos, such as tutorials, product reviews, favourites, etc, but who knows where my channel shall take me!

Thanks to everyone who’s been supporting and encouraging me, it truly means so much!

Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Live beautifully and prosper, beauty nerds!
